Unboxing Madness: So Many Boxes, My Table Started Looking Like an Apple Store
When I dumped everything Apple gave me onto the table, even I got scared.
iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 11, AirPods Pro 3, MagSafe wallets, power banks…
For a second, I thought maybe I should open an EMI shop.
The first thing I grabbed was obviously the king: iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Not the orange one though — that colour didn’t reach my hands because its demand is so high, even Apple is hiding it like gold. I did see it at the event… and yes, the orange and blue colours are absolute stunners. White? Umm… let’s say it builds character but not confidence.
My unit was the Deep Blue 1TB model, priced around ₹1,89,900, and the base model starts at ₹1,49,900. Apple clearly said, “Your wallet is between us and God. Choose wisely.”
The Actual Unboxing: Simple, Clean, and That Satisfaction Sound
Apple boxes nowadays are so minimalistic that unboxing is over before your brain even reacts.
Just pull the paper tabs, lift the lid, and… boom — the blue Pro Max is staring back at you like, “Feed me content.”
Inside the box?
- The phone
- Braided Type-C to Type-C cable
- Documentation and stickers
- SIM ejector (except for models that are eSIM only)
That’s it. No charger. No case.

My First Reaction Holding the Phone
That first in-hand feel… chef’s kiss.
Blue colour? Gorgeous.
Build quality? Premium.
Weight? Slightly more than 16 Pro Max — 231g this time — but still feels balanced.
The satisfying peel of the paper cover?
Almost therapeutic. If Apple sold that sound as a ringtone, I’d buy it.
A Quick Look at the Cameras
Before even powering it on, the camera bump reminded me:
“Bro, this is not phone… this is DSLR in disguise.”
The biggest change?
- Telephoto camera is now 48MP instead of 12MP
- You can shoot 4K 30FPS using dual capture (front + back at the same time!)
- Optical quality zoom up to 8X on the Pro Max
This feature alone is a content creator’s dream. Imagine vlogging your face and the scenery together… without using third-party apps.
Front Camera Glow Up
Selfie lovers, rejoice.
The new 18MP front camera may look small on paper but the jump from previous 12MP cameras is VERY noticeable — especially in low light.
And the coolest part?
When you open the camera, you get a slider to choose between wide, normal, auto-rotate, auto-zoom etc. If your friends enter the frame, the phone adjusts automatically to fit them in.
Finally, no more “bro half face cut ayindi” in group selfies.

This one shocked me.
From the moment I held it, I kept saying “wow.”
It gave me old iPhone 6 nostalgia but in a modern body.
No SIM slot — eSIM only.
So… Apple saved money on SIM ejector pin too. Respect.
Cases
Every case is ₹4,900.
Apple basically says:
“If your phone falls, that’s your problem. But we’ll help you avoid it… for a price.”
Quality is actually very good though. Some cases reminded me of the old special OnePlus boxes — gave that premium unboxing feel.
MagSafe Power Bank
This one triggered me.
Price: ₹11,900
Charges only up to 65% of iPhone Air.
Apple really said: “Full battery is a luxury.”
AirPods Pro 3
These impressed me the most besides the phones.
New features like live translation, added sensors, better ANC — all solid upgrades.
No cable inside though… Apple is consistent.
Apple Watch Series 11
Looks premium, sports band feels comfortable, and the big highlight is Hypertension detection (but waiting for India certification).
At least they gave a charging cable inside. Small mercies.

Final Thoughts – Should You Buy It?
After unboxing and using the phone briefly, here’s my honest take:
If you’re using an iPhone 14 Pro or older → BIG upgrade. Worth it.
If you’re on 15 Pro Max → upgrade only if you shoot videos/photos a lot.
If you’re just upgrading for colour → Blue is enough to break your heart (in a good way).
The demand for 17 Pro and Pro Max in India is insane. Some people are already selling them in black market at extra price… that’s when you know an iPhone has “fan base” not customers.
